Police harassment
Sir, today (11th June 2016) me and my cousin brother went to Puliyarakkonam to buy some chicken. While coming back three officers at the Puliyarakkonam check post and they found that my cousin brother was drunken, it was true.. they took him to the Police Station and levied fine, at the same time I was waiting at check post and asked officer why my brother too late, then without any provocation one of the officer beat me severely with a long stick, then after with his right hand he beat me on my face. He is a thin young man around twentyfive years. They abuse me while I am asking his name. When my brother came from the Police Station we decided to complaint against this officer, but another man came to us and threaten that do not make any complaint aganst them and that will harm to us.
Sir, from this what I understood that we are reluctant to make bribery and on account of that they beat me.. while I am waiting infront of the check post each and every drivers of the commercial vehicle were giving money to the officers publicly.
Sir, I request you to take appropriate action aganst them.. Thank you
