Professional Tax registration
It was in 2008 when the Govt Announced one time amnesty for professional Tax registration. I had just started my Self Employment as a professional 7 wanted to register despite my negative income that year. I was harassed by a Lady tax officer who insisted that I was hiding my income and threatened to raid my house 7 slap whatever case she wanted unless I paid her Rs. 500/- I complained to the commissioner. i had secretly recorded what the officer had demanded. Obviously, the commissioner scolded her and I did not pay anything. However she is still in the job.
