Property tax - Getting it First time a real business to those corrupt Councilors and Corporation staff
Ours is supposedly new apartment (2 years old). Yet to be assessed with Property tax till the last month end. Allegedly the councilor and the department people were expecting bribe of 5000/- per apartment or a scorpio car for the councilor. We decided not to pay a pie of bribe and referred our case to the Mayor. He seemed to have intervened and the procedure have already started. But as of now they seem to be expecting 1000/- rupees service charge for the same but no receipt. I am going to still fight this out. Will not pay a pie.
