PUC not avail paid Rs.1010
Today 6th july 2015 morning. Around 5:00A.M i was stopped at dahisar check naka. I did not violet any traffic rules. Was driving a 4wheel. The guys dressed in police uniform asked for insurance and license which i showed him.. Then he asked me for PUC which i didnt had. He asked me to come out and folkow him which i did. He was heading towards the office where few other were sitting. He asked me to pay 500 and i asked for chalan. Then he said u will have to pay 1000.. I googled online and said for PUC sint the fine rs. 100?? To this he replied u have to come to pokice station and etc.etc..things.. To which i said okie..i asked hom if he could give me a challan and i could pay later to which he said pay 1000.
He asked me to follow him.. He took me all the way to dahisar police station from dahisar check naka.
Herr again before entering he asked me if i would pay 500 to which i denied.. He took me in. Woke up some guy and talked to him in marathi..and left.. They guys asked me to pay 1010. And sign a blank form to which iasked him to fill.. He filled it up with codes to which i asked if he could mention the offense in a more generic way like PUC not avail.. To which he started gettting angry and behaved rudely and repkied i know what to right and not.. If u wanna go just sign and dont ask any question... I felt threatening so i just signed..other senior officer was there who assured it s for PUC only....
I asked him to mention the name of the officers who were there to which they denied bluntly.. I tool the receipt and walked away thinking police officers are never to be trusted as all the sources online said rs 100 fine for PUC.. But this guy made me pay 1010 as i did not paid him 500 for which he denied gicing any receipts indirectly..
They gave me. A recipt which say.. Paymebt to government.. Doesb not hace any offense? Officer etc details..
