Repairing hospital premises - bribe asked by Muncipal Building construction engineer
28 years building having hospital at first floor needed repair of structure without changing original plan. Officer visited the site and asked for Rs 25000 otherwise to stop work.
Since we already had intimated about the poor structure endangering 6 story building and the repair was not altering original plan, we insisted not paying bribe.
So far the repair work is going on and no one came again for any harassment.
