Resisted bribe and asked for challan and was penalized with charges
I by mistake crossed a signal and the traffic police asked for Rs.100 as a bribe, hat (mentioning that for without challan option). When I insisted for a challan, I was asked to pay Rs.1100 and after much of debate Rs.300 and when I continued to mention signal crossing penalty is only Rs.100, was asked to pay Rs.200 including GP02 (stop line violation). It was quite evident that because I refused to pay bribe I was charged extra additional to what I am supposed to for signal crossing.
