Wanton collection of bribe by traffic police near Writer's bulilding in Kolkata
The busy thoroughfare near Writer's building in Kolkata from where CM of West Bengal operates, the passing Road has been divided into two parts- one for buses only and another for all other vehicles. there is no signage or indication showing the bifurcation leading to new vehicles taking the bus bay. The traffic police has a party time all day long collecting bribes just under the nose of beloved and in suspecting CM. I was extremely surprised to see traffic police harassing people and collecting ransom even on Sunday when there is hardly any traffic or rush to justify such unreasonably behavior. Mr friend was made to pay Rs. 200 in such an instance in March
