Young and/or females can discourage some cops from asking for bribes
I was informed that the police verification report could go faster if...and then the policeman's voice faded away. I looked blankly at him and he stared back at me. Finally, he seemed to get really embarrassed and awkward and walked away. I honestly believe that if just my father had been present, the man would have demanded a bribe. He was too embarrassed to ask a twenty-something woman for one.
