A close friend of mine and I wish to open a cafe in Koramangala, Bangalore. We have seen a place which is residential property but there was an ice cream parlor running there. We dont want to leave the place because its very nicely located with low rentals, so we have decided to start a bakery outlet instead, since the bakery outlet is allowed in residential premises. contacted the health inspector of the area but he is telling its not possible because of association.. we mentioned about the ice-cream parlor which was running before and other outlets nearby but it just getting prolonged.. moreover he is not available most of the time.. We just wanted to ensure that he is aware of all this before we start so that problems dont occur in later stage but because of this we are loosing a lot of time.. and landlord is also loosing patience. dont know what to do?
