Get Khata for new Apartment without paying bribe
Hi,
We have bought a new apartment 5 months back from the builder. Now he has got a "consultant" who is asking 7500 per flat to get Khata transfer done, namely
1. Khata Certificate
2. Khata Extract
3. Tax paid receipt
4. Sub Numbers for each flat.
I know that this is a BRIBE that will be paid from the amount. How do i avoid paying this and getting it done myself or i have to go with the crowd and pay up?
What are the documents that the builder has to give me to apply on my own?
Also when does the tax have to be paid for the property- any cut off date after registration or its after Khata Transfer?
