Hi,
our house is 70 years old. My grand father lost the original ownership document but we have all the property tax receipts for last 35 years. My father wants the house to be transferred to my name by way of settlement deed from my grand father to me. I and my father are the only son.
What is the settlement deed stamp duty for city of hyderabad for residential building ?
our agent says 3% but i think it is 1%. The registration is asking for 1.5% bribe.

Please clarify.
