My father had mortgaged our house as a collateral against an education loan .However,the loan was never availed of and the bank appealed to the Gahziabad Development Authority officials to cancel the NOC.My father has already paid up the lease rental of Rs 1029973 before due date.He had requested the Authority officials to extend the lease and freehold ownership,but some corrupt senior officials(including a top-level official) of the department are forcing him to cough up Rs 50 lacs more!How do we get through this?
