I came from USA to India. I was worried about the customs clearance, as I have heard from many that custom officials at Mumbai airport take bribe for custom clearance. But I was fortunate enough that the officer on duty was honest and he was scanning all bags legally and was allowing who are bringing legal and permissible amount stuff.
It was great experience.
