No bribe asked or given
I have a flat in Bannerghatta road. The builder had given a CMC katha. BBMP now has taken over this area and we had to get a new BBMP katha. I went to the corporation office, with copy of sale deed, old katha, tax paid and a letter of request for new katha. I submitted it and was asked to come a week later. I went and was asked to pay the katha fee, of some Rs.100 plus. Asked to come a week later. Week later, without any hassle or fanfare, the katha was handed over to me.
This has been the experience of others also from the building.
No names were dropped; no influence used; no money paid; no undue delay in issue of katha.
