Our Audi Q3 was involved in an accident on the NH-47 L&T Bye Pass between Coimbatore & Palghat -41kms from Palghat-with an Eicher E2 truck that was crossing the highway from right to left loaded with cement bags and suddenly slowed down. Both my wife and I were unscathed, but with the two airbags deployed, our vehicle was stranded. We approached the Madukkarai Police station and dealt with Inspector Shanmugasundaram there. He not only enabled us to share photos of the two vehicles by email (else one had to print the same or submit on a CD), but helped file the Intimation letter with all the necessary details, being very helpful all the time. When I collected the CSR Certificate he was alone in the Office and I greatly appreciate him for issuing the same with absolutely no money being paid, even when I gratefully asked him if there any 'fees' he firmly said no. My deepest respect for the gentleman and the Police Force went up several notches especially when I learnt from two friends in similar accident situations who obtained these Certificates with payouts of Rs. 3000 & Rs. 5000
