Passport Verification without a Bribe...
My daughter was asked to report to the Whitefield Police Station at 1:30pm on Sunday, 14th Nov. 2010, for Passport Verification - with Address Proof, Age Proof and 2 PP photographs. On submission of these documents, we were asked for further address proof - for which we submitted copies of Water Bill and Indane Gas Co. bills. The official found these documents in order. When I asked him if that was all, he said "Yes". No cash was asked for - or paid.
