Use the online appointment and epay system!
I had previously got a bribe free experience when I got my learners license by going through the online system. However, now that I had to get the permanent license which was based on successfully passing a road test, I was anticipating there may be a bribe asked. I went through the online system again so as to save time and also make the payment without standing at a counter. When I reached there they gave a quick glance over to verify my documents were there, and asked me to go for a road test. There were at least 10-15 other people who were there for a road test, and though we had to wait initially about an hour for the inspector, once he came, my test took only 2-3 minutes. No bribe was asked or insinuated at all! Best of all, I got my license via speed post 2-3 business days later!
