In the immigration area of Chennai airport, there was a helpdesk, i went upto him and ask for a form (if any) to be filled out for my daughter. With the usual arrogant tone of Indian officials, he asked me if she was an Indian Citizen, i said No. He asked for the passport, I wondered why. Then he started filling out a form from his draw using the passport.
Qn#1: Why are the forms in his draw, and why cant they be placed in the immigration area with proper sign boards, which could easily eliminate his job and corruption.
Cont: Before he finished filling out the form, he has me to give him some dollars. It was basically a service fee for filling out the form as if i was uneducated and asked him to fill out the form. Seeing him, few others followed me to offer help and collect more dollars. I decided to refuse help from anyone else.
