I have been paying bribes in bangalore from the age of 10 years, from my grandfathers death certificate to my kid birth certificate. I bought agriculture land from sale proceeds of agriculture land, but to do khata on my name i need to bribe tahasildar, revenue inspector, village accountant, finally to assistant commissioner. They threaten using the karnataka land reforms act. Govt has fixed the land value as 25 lakhs, and at the same time they want farmers with annual income of less than 2 lakhs only eligible to buy this land. This kind of foolish law has made tahasildar, revenue inspector, village accountant and assistant commissioners making crores of rupees in karnataka. Following are the bribes I have paid.
10 th standard hall ticket gazetted officer sign - Paid Rs 150 to doctor in 1992
Got driving license by paying Rs 750 to RTO officer in 1994
Got death certificate of grandfather by paying bribe Rs 5000 in 1997
Got passport in year 1998 bribe Rs 1500
Got Birth certificate bribe Rs 750 Year 2004
Got Marriage certificate bribe Rs 1200 Year 2003
Got Home plan approval bribe Rs 25000 year 2005
Got water and sanitary connection bribe Rs 65000 year 2005
Got electricity connection bribe Rs 45000 year 2005
Got agriculture land paid bribe 20,000 to tahasildar 2011
Got agriculture land khata paid bribe Revenue inspector 20,000
Village accountant bribe 15,000
Assistant commission revenue department 2,00,000
Renewed my driving license 2014 Paid bribe Rs 750
This goes on, I have confidence that, if any country pay bribe to govt, they may sell this country.
I lost hope on god, as this country is led by goons and I need to turn as goon to lead a normal life. Bangalore and Karnataka govt is very easy, pay bribe for all your work. When will this country change ?
