I applied through the proper channel for making my passport,not through an agent. After the verification of documents at the PSK, a Munshi came to my house for adress verification, he asked me to voluntarily give me some money , then after a week I was called at the Sukhdeo Nagar police station, Ranchi. The process went smoothly but at the end the person who was verifying my documents demanded money if I wanted my application to be forwarded and i had to pay the bribe.
On 13th july, I went to the post office to collect the passport and even the postman demanded me a bribe.
