One of the very comman issue in Pune is that you cannot get your license without going through agents. Only if you are lucky enough you will get your license otherwise it will be rejected or you have to wait for months.
It is a well planned and organized structure here in Pune. We pay to the agents and they will pay to the police so direct involvement of police with people is not there. I always wonder everyone knows about this but still no action is taken. Due to this Pune streets are filled with idiots who do not have how to drive or traffic rules. For me this is the very reason why Pune is no unsafe for driving even walking on roads.
