My name is Supriya and my husband name is Janarthanan. We both live in Madipakkam. Now we live in US. We tried to apply for Aadhar card whenever we come to India for vacation. We tried to enroll our names for Aadhar card for past three years, but couldn't apply for it.
When we travel this time, we tried to apply in Madipakkam office on Jan 9th, 2017, they said they don't have enrollment application form and need to wait for a week to get it. Then we went to Aadhampakkam office on the same day, they replied the same answer. We were upset and we were about to leave the office, suddenly a lady in that office gave me Vignesh mobile number and asked me to talk to him regarding enrollment application form. I called him and he told me to come to his office the next day (Jan 10th, 2017) to do enrollment process.
On Jan 10th, 2017, we both went to Aadhampakkam office at 11 am. We met Vignesh and he asked us to give bribe Rs. 500 for enrollment application. We were forced to pay bribe to security name Munusamy. We did pay bribe and started to stand in a Q for 3 hours. We happened to see all the worst things happening in that office. Along with Vignesh, there was another lady (sorry, we don't know her name). They were so rude to the people and made people to suffer for enrollment. They were expecting people to give bribe and giving respect to the person who give bribe to them.
We were so upset on seeing all the things happened in that office. It would be more appreciated is you take some actions against them.
We would like to see corruption free India soon.
