Hi, My father-in-law had to pay 300/- INR to the Dombivali police station to get his police verification done.
Paying 300/- is not a big deal, but why was it needed i the question. The police in this are a take this amount openly saying "if we want our positive feedback to go the passport office pay the amount, place the money in the drawer"
What kind of government service is this??? This is purely bribing. I came to know about this incident recently through my in-laws.
