Bribe to Renew Scale License
I have a small trading unit in Bengaluru and we use 1 Tonne scale to measure our products weight before we sell the goods. As per the government rules we have to get our license renewed every year and we have been promptly doing that.
This year when the renewal was due and I went to the department they asked me literally to pay the bribe or else the renewal wont be done.
I asked them to generate a government receipt for the amount and they said that amount of Rs:1250/- is for the officer for doing my work.
This is atrocious and government employees demand money for doing their work for which they get salary.
I am terribly upset with this system of work.
