It was the first time that we(me, wife, kid) went into ABC (appa bhavan chowk) on my bike, could not see the parking line end on the road side while parking. After an hour returned back, bike was lifted and written "samardha" there on the road. we could not get it what was that and where was my bike, asked near by footpath seller, said lifted by traffic police.
Then made an enquiry with near by traffic police at Dagudashet Gnesh Mandir chowk, where would all these lifted bikes taken to. He said that the near by "KADAK POLICE STATION". When we ( my self, wife and kid ) reached there by an auto, it was my surprise to see large group of people who are collecting the money on behalf of the police personals and no reciept for the transactions. Transactions are made by saying that if you want reciept this much else how much can you pay with out.
I approached the mob then they asked me to check whether my bike was there are not, i finally could not trace my bike there, then one among them said, i will find out where is your bike is taken to, asked my mobile for calling, but said that for this i h ave to pay him Rs 100/-, i said i canot pay, then i asked another person in the mob, he said with bit of helping hand that my bike would be in "SAMARDHA POLICE STATION" for sure then we got an auto costed us 40/-, there we could trace my bike parke in front of the station out side of the station on the road side.
Even here the story is same that group of civilians who are collecting the money in the name of fine, with out reciept. He was asking for 700/-, he was on top saying that this can even go up if the police personal comes, be fast make a deal that how much i can pay, it was around 7.30/8 pm becoming dark and i have to travel to wakad its arnd 20 km from the station, finally we paid 300/- returned home with out any receipt.
