Custom officers and their boss a.c.bala at numbal cfs browbeaten me to pay rs 20000 and a laptop

• Customs, Excise and Service Tax
• Customs Clearance of Import Shipment
• Paid INR 50,000

It is very hurtening that in this era when our govt. taking every effort to facilitate trade and curb corruption, and our govt employee on the contrary trying to squeeze money from common people.
i have to get one of my machinery consignment clear from numbal cfs. i have imported the machinery consignment in open roof container. as it is open roof and the custom officer can easily check by entering from the front to examine it but they told that they can not enter into container and i have to destuff the machinery outside . i could not do that as it will damage the consignment. on repetitve request the custom officer didnot helped. in the last one person came who used to collect bribe for them and told that he can help but i have to pay rs 10000.
i was shocked . first of all i didnot able to understand wat to do. then some kind ppl told me that their senior is their a.c.bala. when i tried to take his help and complaint to him then nothing happened and i was shocked what has transpired . only thing that happend is bribe amount went to rs 30000 from 10000. i think now the cut of a.c. also came in . when i threatened to go to higher official then the rate goes to 40000. and even they refuse to do it . finally with the help of other cha i decided to do it as it is urgent. finally that cha helped and i paid rs 20000 in cash and one laptop for them..
i am totally horrified that they are taking so openly and no body is putting them in jail.
i request the media lobby to take action. as u can easily catch them red handed. as they are taking daily bribe from each person.
