Last year i had to admit my ward for higher education. after a lot of survey, i decided upon a certain institution and had preliminary rounds of meeting with the management. they accepted our application and were called afterwards to admit the ward in college. till end i was not told anything and i was under the impression that process has been smooth one. just before starting of the classes, on my final meeting i was told to pay a hefty sum of 5 lacs. i was left with no option, as i had no time left to search for other colleges and all. i requested for payments in instalments, but they disagreed and I had to pay that. and till date i have not been issued any reciept for the same. my payment is recorded as i issued a cheque from my account, and i am sure if summoned they are going to name it as a donation. and i know at least 3-4 more persons who paid such amount for their children to get admitted to a college. And what happens if child is not able to adjust to the new environment and opts to fall out. money is wasted. and they really create such situations and pressure on the children that within a short time the child opts to fall out.
CAN I TAKE FREEDOM TO CLEARLY ANNOUNCE THAT THIS IS A ROOT CAUSE OF RAISING UP A CORRUPT GENERATION. AFTER THE CHILD CLEARS EDUCATION, AT THE BACK OF MIND SOMEWHERE, THIS PAYMENT WILL BE THERE. AND DONT YOU THINK THAT THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE OUT OR RATHER RECOVER THIS AMOUNT BY ALL MEANS IN MULTIFOLD QUANTUM. And who holds all the stakes in these institutions, all POLITICIANS and WHITE COLLARED BUSINESS MEN.
Who is responsible for this? I agree that parents are also a part of this. but they are left alone and does not have guts to fight the whole system. It is the society as a whole which is to awaken and teach a lesson to this type of menace.
