I applied to CMDA for plan approval for house construction. Though the land was in my name with clear EC, the CMDA officials asked me to get a legal opinion letter from Mr. Manimaran, Govt. pleader at Alandur court. He asked to give him Rs. 20,000 as fees to give a letter saying that some case was closed in July 2013 (more than 6 months back). He said that the bribe will be shared with other govt officials in ADMK
