I have paid the bribe for registering an apartment which I bought.

• Registration of Flat or Apartment
• Paid INR 22,500

I have paid an amount of INR 22500 towards registration of the flat which I purchased. Registrar threatned us that he can stop the registration under any of the 16 discretionary powers he vseted with. This is weird and in-humane. Honestly, no body can register a property without paying a bribe equivalent to the stamp duty (this is minimu).
