My name is Harish, and I have been trying to get a driving license at Jayanagar RTO since a month.
To brief you about the issue, I had gotten my learner's license through a driving school, as being a not native - I could not figure out the process because of language barrier (I am a Marathi).
Around a month back, I went to RTO Jayanagar - followed the complete process (photo, driving test, etc) - all clear, and finally went to submit form - where I was told that they can't accept my form as my learner's license had my driving school stamp (Charan Driving School)
over it. I don't understand why.
I had to pay an amount to this driving school and they submitted the form - all this happened a month back)
Later, my driving school informed me that my application was not processed - they wouldn't give me a specific reason. I inquired at the RTO - where I was rudely spoken in Kannada - which obviously I did not understand.
No one is ready to help me and I feel like I'm going mad because of this frustration. I have been running from one person to next for a month now - nobody is even listening to me - I tried calling all the grievances dept nos., nodal officers given at RTO website - no response again.
I lead a difficult life as it is, I travel around 30 kms a day and my auto expenses exhaust my meager salary. I have used up all the leaves that I had - thanks to my numerous visits to this Jayanagar RTO. This whole issue is ruining my life. I don't know what to do!
There's blatant corruption happening at this RTO - people don't accept forms without the touts - or your so called "driving schools".
