For some reason my new vehicle's RC didn't make it to my registered address.
I was waiting for it, for about 3+ months. I came to know that I'll now have to collect this from the RTO Koramangala (which is in BDA complex, Koramangala).
The guy incharge of handing out the returned RC (Room #11, leftmost cabin observed from the door. Incident happened at around 1:30 PM) asked for Rs. 100/- quite shamelessly. I thought it is a regular fee of sorts. Turned out it was something for him to keep in his pocket.
I was raised in north india (by my south indian parents). My grab on Kannada language is very poor. Just because I am an outsider, does it mean you can do this? After paying 30% Road tax?
After taking a leave to go to the stupid RTO where your way of record management is so poor, That i had to visit Post office to get the return date of the post. Because there is no electronic/smarter way for them to keep a track of returned posts. So basically I paid a bribe for my inconvenience.
Had higher expectations from Bangalore.
