I paid bribe for my marriage registration.

I and my wife went to sub-register office to register our marriage on 25th nov 2010 ,morning 10 am.The sub register didn't give the sufficint info regarding the documents required for that ; He asked US to see the office boy .The office asked Rs 50(I thought it might be a form fee, but that was not a form fee he just said what all the documents required and what to fill in).We submitted all the documents which were neccessary as proof our of marriage, along with form IV(Hindu marriege registration)and paid RS 230 as Govt fee for the registration. I ,my wife and witness people were waiting in the office till 4:00 pm and every 1 hr i was checking the status of the application; at 4:20 pm the sub-register asked me to come tomorrow OR day after tomorrow , i argued with him i can't come tomorrow , i wont take much of your time since i am waiting from morning 10:00 am ,so please process it today and i need the certificate today only ,then officer asked me to wait till 6.00pm. Finally at 6.00pm certificate was ready and then he asked me pay Rs 1000. Then i asked why Rs 1000; sub-register was so rash and he was giving reasons why i have to pay the money ;he could not allowed to talk any thing,finally said certificate will be issued only by paying 1000.By that time i was frustrated ,gave up arguing with that officer ,I am left with option giving Rs 800 and got my certificate.I hate this ,corrupted karnataka Govt offices.The lokayukt of karntaka should take care of these corrupt offices.
