At the starting end stair of the north section in sealdah station outside there is a tea shop. I lit up a cigarette after took a cup of tea from that shop. Two unknown persons without any uniform suddenly attack me and showing me a 3 inch by 3 inch sticker above the head asked me why i lit up the cigarette and took me to GRP Sealdah. There I asked to a police person about my guilty two or three times. He did not answered me and tried to through me to lockup. After that a outsider of the GRP office (police persons called him muhuri) took Rs 350 from me for bail. No money receipt is given to me .
Everybody knows that smoking is a punishable offense in the station. But there should be clearly notify the no smoking zone and the notice should be prominent to all. Secondly , the fine should be collected by authorized person with giving money receipt.
