I was made to cry for resisting to pay bribe
- Stamps and Registration
- Registration of Flat or Apartment
- Paid INR 2,500
I paid 2000Rs for registration of my flat on 1st June 10, but i decided i will not pay again.
I had to register the parking agreement for my new flat.
I was standing in the queue for 4 days from 8am to 6PM and everytime my file used to go at bottom as there is no workable token system and refused to bribe.
The registrar asked 1000Rs initially i said no and was waiting for 3 days.I had to catch a flight for Germany and he knew that so he deliberatly keep me waited for 4 days and at the last day i was asked to come after 2 weeks without a reason.
As he knew that i had to go Germany next day he asked to come after 2 weeks. He bargained cancellation of flight will cost you 5000Rs minimym and now i want 4000Rs.he made me cry and finally an agent settled it on 2500Rs with 500Rs commision to agent.I was feeling very victimised and cheated by system and decided i dont want to stay in country where no one cares of common man.He told me he has to give money to ministers and this is regular practice and i can not do anything against him.
I wanted to hit that guy but again it will give another opportunities to exploit the common man like me for our police and law.
We have a system where blood of common pepole is extracted by these politicians and bureaocrats and sometimes i belive we are their prey or meat which they can eat anytime they want.Rules and regulations are not to help pepole but to exploit them and collect more and more money from them using these rules.
I feel very bad that britishers lefe our country as grandfather used to tell they were very good and there was a rule of law and enforcement at that time
