While I was crossing a signal, traffic was very slow near Richmond circle, after crossing the pedestrian line I saw the signal has turned RED and I was parallel to a Scorpio so I thought let me cross the signal as the traffic is slow. I was on two wheeler and parallel to Scorpio following a BMTC bus (all three so called jumped the signal). The traffic policemen stopped me and said" Sar you have jumped the signal" I said yes but since the traffic was slow and I was parallel to Scorpio so I did not stop. That is not jumping of signal in that case Scorpio and BMTC too jumped the signal. He said I did not see them, I only saw you as the last vehicle jumping the signal. He started smiling and asked me INR 400, straightaway I said give me the receipt I'll pay in the RTO. He said fine leave your vehicle here and walk. Well I said INR 100, he took it and said do not jump the signal again, I said please check the last vehicle properly and good night.
Policemen asked my License as well and since he could make out that I'm well prepared for all the docs he did not ask anything else but said mine was the last vehicle to jump the signal but the fact is BMTC followed by Scorpio and me parallel to scorpio jumped together but being on the lightest vehicle I was the last to jump.
