I'm writing this report while travelling in Rani chennamma express from Bangalore to Arsikere. I and my sister had to travel to Arsikere from Bangalore unexpectedly,so we couldn't reserve the seats. When we arrived at railway station we talked with TT and told him we have unreserved tickets and requested him to allocate us berths in reservation compartmemt if available. He asked us to sit in S5 coach 36 and 37 seats as those seats were reserved from Arsikere. After an hour or so he came to us and asked us to pay RS.300. I asked him to take the difference amount for reservation according to the rules. He started shouting at me and asked me to go to unreserved compartment which by now was completely filled with no place to even stand. I would have taken the risk of going but i had a lady with me and it would have been too difficult and unsafe for her to travel like that in the night. He was so much abusive and insulting that finally we had to pay him what he asked for. I felt terrible after that. After a little enquiry I found that he took same amount from around 20 people travelling to Arsikere in the same train. Please take an action and please ask him to treat passengers respectfully.Thanks
