This was way back in the year 2000 or 2001, when i was in college. My father owned a flat in Kolkata which, after his death had to be transferred in my/my mothers name. But for that, i had to run around the Municipal Corporation for days and this gentleman (who works only half days) never used to pass on my papers for sanction. He didn't even tell me that he needs a bribe thinking i was too young to be asked...so he used to tell me "Get someone older and i will settle things". So finally he cracked and he told my uncle (who i had taken to ********** him) that he needs Rs 1000. We bargained and finally the job was done for Rs 500!
