I got my bike transferred in Pune from Udaipur (rajasthan). I have the following documents to prove that.
1) NOC from RTO Udaipur Rajasthan
2) Insurance
3) Licence
4) Bike logistics papers
5) RC of the bike
6) Identification proof (by the employer and govt.)
have applied for the State RTO for a new number, but Traffic police is already taking all the "road tax" from me in form of bribes. I made an herculian effort, making sure I get my bike in Pune with all the paperwork done, but all in vain because no legal or govt. paper works if till you offer 100 Rupees to the traffic police.
