That was the 2nd day of my newly purchased bike. It didn't have a registration no. yet. I had no idea about the parking rules on JM road. Near Chintamani travels bikes should be parked horizontal to the road and I was not aware of this and parked vertical to road. The towing van came and tried to pick my bike. I was there and insisted them that I was not aware and also my bike is brand new and even with the temporary no. The hawaldaar took advantage of this fact and told that they will not leave the bike and if they tow my bike then I may not be able to get it back. Having no option back I had to give him Rs 100 as bribe and he took it very happily and went.
In such situation I think the police should be a bit lenient towards the public but they are not. They just need money... Pata nahi kahan le kar jayenge bholi bhali janta ke itne saare paise.
