Official from the Municipality refused to process my application unless I paid a bribe.

A lady from the offices of S.G.D.P. building in Margao came to check my single bedroom flat to see if it was built according to plan.She found that the kitchen(a small area) was not on the plans. She said that it was illegal and she could not process the application and she rejected it. After about two hours her accomplice came and said to my cousin that if I gave him ten thousand rupees he would pass it. I paid the money.
