P C C Bribe

I applied for Permanent Residence for Canada for which required P C C for me and my wife. Initially an L I U officer came to my residence given P C C for me but for my wife he holds on the file and after couple of days later called to visit his office to get the P C C. I apprehended that he may gonna ask for bribe which he did as living on the edge and don't want any delays in my profiling have to shed 1000 RS to get the certificate. Don't remember the name of the officer but just wants to share my experience.
