I am not sure posting this blog is safe enough but taking my chances. I am from a middle class family working to earn my living and take care of my family more than that I never had any expectations from life and will never have. I was married to a girl I loved but never knew she will become the person whom I hate most in my life now. I am keeping my identity hidden neither the case happened in Bangalore nor I am living in Bangalore. Here is my story.
I married a girl whom I loved few months back. Soon after the marriage she started to put all sorts of non sense demands and started to abuse me and my mother in front of my relatives and society. It was not even 6 months after marriage that she left for her parents house with all her belongings with her with a threat that she will ensure that we (me and my mother) are put behind bars. I started to read between the lines of her and her families conversation and made all the recordings and documents ready including made a police dairy detailing all the situations. After few days the situations turned to worst and I decided not to bring her back and filed for divorce. upon receiving the notice she immediately filed for false 498a and other criminal cases on me and my mother and also sent me a notice for maintenance. The information was passed to me by my lawyer with the certified copy of her FIR and case of 498a.
I produced all the documents to prove my innocence but this rotten Indian system does not even count that and police were making a move to arrest me and my mother. I was asked to pay a bribe of 25,000 Rs to the police so that they will not arrest me and give me time to get AB for my case. I moved to the court but don't know if I will get AB for me and my mother. To me this was most shocking that the move was made even after receiving an order from Supreme Court. Me and my mother who is now a sr. citizen are being harassed day and night due to this case. i am loosing my faith over our judicial system and somehow cursing my self to be born as boy and more importantly being Indian. in order to secure Indian woman all men are asked to walk on a naked sword which can slice you at any point of time. Why? Are Indian men not citizen of India? Are we not meant to be protected? Have we taken birth to just struggle through out our life? These are few questions I believe our law makers should answer precisely because only our mythology says that most of the devils are men does not mean that all men are villains and all women are just abla nari. When the case are logged on a women where does that abla nari disappears? When some girls just go out and ask for money through court becomes abla nari why? My question is also to those so called women protection society that how many men they have helped till date? did they put on any dharna or protest and demand the arrest of such lady and her family and demand their punishment when they come to know that women had filed a false 498a case agaist her husband and in-laws? When a wife say that husband and her family demanded for a car becomes dowry and if she asks husband and her in-laws to gift a car to her parents that becomes gift. Why? Are we men made of iron? Are we note printing machines that whenever whoever wants just raise their head and demand for money? Don't we bleed when we get a cut or its just women?
We all count how many women were burnt for dowry, did we spare a min to think about husbands who commits suicide due to their wife? Why are they not punished? Did we men took a copy right that all the punishments should only be forced on us and girls should be left alone so that they can use the same formula and extract some more money from someone else?
