Paid bribe to get the Police verification report

I had applied for Passport reissue on 6th Jan 14.
I went to Kanchipuram district SP office to get the police verification report which had to be downloaded and file sealed.
To get the date seal on the first floor the person asked for Rs 50
The officer incharge in the Crime records dept. asked Rs 500 for himself and Rs.200 for the assistant.
