There are 3 mandatory things for marriage certificate 1) Address proof of husband and wife 2)********** of Birth of husband and wife 3) marriage invitation card .
I had passport for 1st two thing for myself and my wife and had marriage invitation with form filled and signed as per rules. But when I went inside they told passport is not valid proof for ********** of birth and address proof. you need to go to base location else get some other proof.
Later when I came outside agent asked me to pay 3000 Rs and finally I ended up paying 1000 Rs to get my marriage certificate and when I paid money they didn't even called me inside for verification, duly signed certificate came outside directly for my sign and got it in few hours but I felt ashamed for paying bribe
