I parked my bike in front of Haiku Honda showroom in Domlur. The parking lot was clearly marked by the police and also shows the sign board as Two wheeler parking on right hand side of sign board. I went to show room to book one new bike for my brother. But when I returned after 1 hr, I found my bike was missing, along with other bikes. I asked the nearby person, he told that traffic police took away my bike in "tiger". I went to Traffic police station in ulsoor, I found that the contractor was sitting on my bike chained. I asked him, why my bike is under custody, he told me that, it was in no parking zone. I tried to convince him that, it was parking zone. He suddenly asked for Rs. 300 to release the bike. Irony is it was happening in front of the police constable. I told the constable that my bike is in safe parking zone. he told do as the contractor tells. I paid Rs. 300 to release my bike as a "fine" for offence, which I didn't do at all.
