This seems to be the norm in the area, Police will only send the verification report if we pay him 500rs , or else they would write a report saying' the person was not present at home when he visited and it is doubtful if he resides in his home.'
Was pathetic the shamelessness by which he asked the money. Was totally taken aback, but couldnt get the courage to fight it, cause its the police, and any altercation with them can prove costly.
