My father wanted to gift and register the plot in my name in Model Town Panipat, and we went to chotti tehsil (M/s Satnaam and Co.), for stamp writing and everything. He got an idea that we are new to this, so he first misguided us, however, we took the papers from him and went to the tehsildaar in ********** Secretariat, Panipat. He first refused to ********** us, and sent us to the Reader " Vicky" (don't know his full name -- otherwise he is the most corrupt). After going to the Tehsidaar ********** ji and reader N number of times form morning to evening, the tehsildaar asked for the ownership certificates, which we produced, rest everything was in place, he kind of told us to come again another day. Next day again went in waiting and meeting tehsidaar Ashwnini and his reader Vicky, but they didn't sign, later the Satnaam and company came into play and one of the advocate son of Satnaam, came into picture, told us that since our registry is of 30 lacs, we will have to give 30,000 over and above our 15,000 registration charges and 1lac 50 thousand stamp duty to get the work done. I was confused but later found that making people wait for unnecessary things, harassing them, not telling them clear instructions and infusing them with feeling of helplessness, they were able to take 30,000 rupees as corruption from us. I became the owner of the plot, but due to this corrupt practice, I know a sense of guilt will remain in me forever, and I will curse that tehsildaar and reader Vicky, that whatever money they have made out of corrupt practice from, God will take out 100 times from them, as God is the only my last recourse.
