Paid INR 500 to the police for address verification

From the Airport police station (near HAL market) the person responsible for the police verifications was this person called Jha or Yadav (don't remember exactly) took a bribe before approving the verification.
He first made me submit enough documents. Then cribbed about the confusion where the passport was sent initially for verification to HAL and that this causes extra paperwork for him.
Then he came to my house in the evening and asked for and took the bribe.
