Paid for line man when getting new connection

We wanted the kavery connection from BWSSB for our apartment and the total offical cost came to 15L. A BWSSB contracter came to us and told that he need 15% of total money which is 2Lacks to help us in getting connaction. and also there is a rule that we should allways go through one of the bwssb contracter. so finally we end up in paying 2L to him and got the connection. as per him he has to distrubute this entire money to every official who works on our file and he hardly gets 10K.

Finally after 2 months we got the connection...now line man came and asked us 4000 to give water from now.

So sad ...after paying so much hard earned money..we still payed a lot of bribe to get connection.....

Now line man is demanding 2000 per month to give us water....

so sad...we have to pay the water bill and also this bribe from now....

Totally getting kavery connection is a big mess...and I challenge that no body would have got the connection with out paying anything....

This is what i think...
- Process should be very transparent...
- We should apply online...
- And all payments done online also....
- Application should be closed with in 2 months of application...
- if it is rejected...then they should update the status on why they rejected and should have option to correct it and fix it....

Entire BWSSB is involved here and everybody get paid....Ask any Bangalorian and the same story is revealed....
