When I applied for birth certificate, MRO asked to provide supported documents. I showed my 10th mark sheet and Passport and Original Birth certificate provided by previous MRO. Still he rejected to give certificate by citing the cause that I don't have entry in their records. I asked him the procedure he told the procedure.. We followed the procedure. Still every time we go to him he shows some thing in the file and says that needs correction. As I'm loosing my time(It's already 1.5 months) I asked him what is the best way to get certificate. He asked for 2000 money. I was frustrated. I have 10th mark list, Passport and old birth certificate but still he rejected to give. As I left with no option other than giving bribe, I paid 2000. I know I'm doing wrong but I left with no options. Then we went to ACB and set a trap to catch him.. we are succeeded in that, but strangely ACB people let him go citing his age and retirement age as causes, which embarrassed us further.
Then I realized there is no hope in this country even if you are honest.
